To have loved and said farewell is better than to have never loved at all.
For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you.
For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly.
For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.
I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.
Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the sun shines gently down upon all of God’s creatures. I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.
We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever.
You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique.
Don’t hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.
Your Pets In Heaven

Percy had a rough start in life, and we got him when he was about a year old. We were lucky to have him for a little over 5 years. His short life, was a happy time for him.
Nearly 11 years ago, Piper and her five other liter mates were dumped at the shelter I was working at at just 4 weeks old. I had the honour to foster her and two of her sisters for about 5 weeks. Piper was the runt of her little. She was a little tanned, blue eyed pitchy bark pocket pitty. She had quite the personality at such a young age. She was spunky, high energy, loved to run, play fetch and she would get very playful as I would grab her front paws in a game.

Polar came into our family 5years ago. We weren’t sure how old he was, an estimate was about 5 or 6, and he quickly won us all over! He wasn’t much for cuddles but if he liked you he would give you a quick one when you least expected it! He was intuitive and knew if you weren’t feeling well, he would stay close and not leave your side. Polar loved playing ball, going for a swim and having a good belly scratch! He was a friendly giant who is missed beyond words.

Rex 1998-2012 Sadly Missed...BUT NOT Forgotten
Rex came to us as a “throw away” dog. I was his 3rd owner and I planned on being the last one. He was a very hyper dog which made him “unmanageable” according the his previous owners so I made it my mission to prove them all wrong. Yes, Rex had many issues due to being locked up and not properly trained or socialized. We spent countless hours researching to find what worked best for our big beautiful boy – and we found it.
To our beautiful kitty Rhea We miss you so much and will love you forever.
Rheanna joined our family with her daughter when she was 10 years old. She loved to cuddle and loved to go for walks.
My dearest Riley bun bun, I hope that your soul is at rest and that you are at ultimate peace and happiness. I will always love you and you will always be in my heart.
A little over 13 years ago Ringer picked us to be a family with as soon as we saw her. As the runt of her litter she was tenacious, friendly, and cuddly. She loved life, kids, playing ball, swimming and Christmas. She would amuse herself & our family. No better Jack Russell can be found, and this funny, amazing, lovable dog will be missed immensely by us & everyone she met.
I brought him home in my palm
Rocky was the most lovable dog we could have ever asked for. He always greeted us with a bark and a wag of his tail. He loved to sit on our feet while we sat at the table or on the couch, he always wanted to be near us. Fetch was his favourite game and he could play for hours! He loved long walks and running around the block with the kids. He will truly be missed.
Roger had the gentlest personality. Was good with people, but disliked other dogs. We know he came from Ohio where his last years were hard, ending up in the pound
Romeo’s favourite season was summer, after a long day helping in the garden he liked nothing better than to curl up on a lounger with me and enjoy the birds singing. He will be greatly missed.

We were fortunate to have our dog Sandi for 81/2 years.
Our beautiful Sandie gave us 15 ½ years of pure joy, endless love and great laughs! Whether she was chasing us in the water, playing in the grass, making snow angels or counter surfing (she was highly motivated by food!), we felt her love and saw her happiness of just being around people. Sandie loved swimming, boating, fishing and hiking too. This picture shows her on a recent hike, always wanting to be the trailblazer in front of everyone else! We will always love her! Warren, Cathy, Andre

He had the life most cats can only dream of. He loved outdoor hunting, even in the winter snows, yet enjoyed being indoors with us for cuddles. Always quiet and never complained. It was a joy for us both to love and care for you Smokey. We miss you so. Debbie and Steve Roffey

Sunny came into our lives in 2006 as a rescue from a kill shelter in Ohio, USA. She was found on the streets, & was around 2 yrs old, skinny & scared of pretty much everything. We soon gained her trust, & she won our hearts over. We gave her the best life we could, full of treats & road trips, where she would put her head out of the window & feel the breeze in her fur with a look of content.
Suuki was a beautiful spirit in a majestic dog body. She loved all people, big and small and was known as the ‘puppy whisperer’ due to her ability to gently teach young dogs how to behave. During my first 6-7 years, I was knocked around from home to home before I found Golden Rescue. One day I was sent to these people who lived right on Georgian Bay with three other dogs. They called it a foster home. I called it paradise. I was there a few weeks having the time of my life, fishing every day and playing with my new siblings. Then I was whisked away to yet another home. Within a year, I found myself back on Georgian Bay and I thought to myself…finally I’m home!

Losing her has created a hole is myself, along with my wife and 3 daughters lives. We will never forget our best friend and family member. Every day she filled us with joy. I hope she is having fun with our previous cats and dogs who have all gone to the next life. There are not enough words to say about the joy she brought us and the memories we will have.
