We first met Mickey in the fall of 2009. I was in the garden centre of a local hardware store when I heard a little meow. I turned around and saw this sweet little black face looking back at me. It was love at first sight. He was starving for food, and a loving home.
My husband named him after his favourite author and the O’Malley after the aristocrats.
Mickey became top cat in our home, and organized the other cats. He knew how to organize his pride.
Mickey was so affectionate, and so beautiful inside and out.
Not a day goes by that we don’t miss our Mickey. Our home seems empty without Mickey but our hearts are full of memories.
Rest in peace Mickey O’Malley. We loved you so much. ‘Wakanda forever Mickey’
