Sam joined the AVH team in January of 2019. She has always had a passion for veterinary medicine and being an advocate for the animals that can’t speak up for themselves. In 2013, she graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Northern College and wrote her Registration Exam later that year. In 2014, she graduated from the Companion Animal and Physical Rehabilitation course at Northern College. After working for a few years in general practice, she elected to further her rehabilitation knowledge, and in 2018 she became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner at the University of Tennessee.
In her spare time, Sam enjoys scuba diving with her boyfriend, Matt, reading, being in the outdoors, and is very much a movie-buff!
